Summer is the season of the festivals in France. Le Club des cinq has selected the best ones!

Each week, your child will discover the city that host the festival and be immersed in the theme through amazing age-appropriate activities all conducted in French.

Including outdoor activities, when the weather permits 🙂

Week1 – Monday 4 July to Friday 8th: The Annecy International Animation Film Festival

Week2 – Monday 11 July to Friday 15 July: Brest 2016 Maritime festival

Discover boats and Brittany. Create your own model boat and yes, we will cook some crepes!

Week3 – Monday 18 July to Friday 22 July: Salon du Chocolat in Paris

Week4 – Monday 25 July to Friday 29 July: Carnet de voyage at Clermont-Ferrand

Week5 – Monday 1 August to Friday 5 August: La fête des lumières à Lyon

Explore light effects and France’s third-largest city. Create your own lighting show. As Lyon is known as the “the gastronomic capital of the world”, be prepared for some food tasting 😉

Week6 – Monday 8 August to Friday 12 August: La Nuit des étoiles, everywhere in French countryside!

Discover the astronomy. Learn more about stars, galaxies, planets, moons, asteroids and comets. Oh, and we will taste Astronaut Ice Cream and make our own telescope!

Week7 – Monday 15 August to Friday 19 August: World Puppetry Festival in Charleville-Méziers

Week8 – Monday 22 August to Friday 26 August: Festival de la bande dessinée d’Angoulême
